Since I'm sure at least one of you guys use tablets (or a good number of you), there has to be something...

Here's the dealio yo. My tablet was working fine in Photoshop CS2 just a short while ago when I was just doing random crapz, but finally, when I decide to color something, I go in there, and realize I have no pressure sensitivity.

I tried:
1) Checking to make sure my tablet was still plugged in, closed out of Photoshop and restarted the program.
2) Clicked my tablet icon and did a test (confused because it seemed to be working fine in the tablet test, pressure sensitivity that is.)
3) Did the same in (1), but then unplugged my tablet, restarted the computer, put my tablet back in, went back into Photoshop.
4) Disabling and then re-enabling through My Computer -> properties -> devices blah blah blah

Any ideas? :<

Ahem... Yeah, okay guys... problem fixed itself somehow. I decided I'd just try to color it without the pressure sensitivity, but then as I was changing my brush size it suddenly went back to normal.

well, sometimes it happens, I don't know why, and for a f** no-sense reason, it happens to work later... sometimes it's when you restarted you computer 34567890po9i87 times, or you '';played'' with the '';pressure on/off'' ''new document/open directly photoshop by opening an photoshop files'' etc... It's weird.

sometimes, photoshop pressure never works again ( I know some people, their pressure never worked, but only with photoshop)

I don't know if there is a bug somewhere ( photoshop? tablet? driver? crack? )or if it is only the pc, dunno... or something unknow? btw, my tablet was always bugging with the programm '';photoimpact'', but other people never...


I think the best solution is to look for a tutorial or something in forum. I think it's possible, you're not the first personn with this problem...

the most dramatic synopsis is that your tablet pressure sensitivity died, but i think it's impossible, you pointed that it work with pen tablet....

Did you try closing photoshop and reopening? Restarting your computer ot reinstalling the tablet drivers can help too. But the easiest fix is exiting the program and going back in. I know my Photoshop does this all the time >.<

Yeah, I've been looking at lots of forums but it doesn't seem to fit with my problem. You're right though, sometimes it'll just come back on later, and I hope that's the case. Thanks a lot for explaining all of this XD and I think your english is fine <3

My computer IS pretty odd, so some problems with it just go away or come on and off... so we'll seez XD

I think reinstalling the driver should work. The CD or they generally have them on the manufacturer's website too. ^o^ Hope it works out babe~
